LUCKY III was a race horse who because of a leg fracture at 5 years old was going to be sent to a slaughter operation. Rescued by a family and for 20 years loved and cared for was later able through Tiny Acres NWFL Rescue’s Horses From Hospice Program to settle into a permanent
retirement at RHH.

Lucky III is the friendliest of fellows and loves company. He shares a pasture with mares Wildfire and Sheeba II and even though he has pins in
his leg he has no trouble keeping up with his girls.
