General worked for the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Patrol for 6 years…. patrolling the neighborhoods, beaches and parks as well as working at special events before retiring due to age and medical issues. (Before being donated to the mounted unit in 2019 he had a career of dressage and jumping. Intelligent, friendly and noble General is a true gentleman….Now having the proper retirement a faithful public servant deserves.
